Service & Youth Development
A primary component of AMAA’s mission is to spread the Christian faith in the United States and countries around the world by nurturing a deeper commitment to God, offering communities the tools for outreach and providing relief for those less fortunate. AMAA’s mission has a major focus on community which is centered on the teachings of the gospels and living the message of giving to those less fortunate. Throughout the campaign, individuals or congregations are welcome to join in any number of AMAA outreach initiatives such as:
- Distributing Bibles, to promote the Christian faith through literature
- Recommend individuals or themselves for opportunities to aid in AMAA work, such as serve on a project abroad
- Partner with the AMAA on initiatives not highlighted as part of this campaign
AMAA recognizes that today’s youth are tomorrow’s generation of entrepreneurs, workers and leaders, who are transitioning in a world which requires more than the basic set of skills taught in school. Through its partner youth programs, AMAA will seize the window of opportunity at this critical time in a person’s development to engage and empower them with essential skills and competencies.
Program attributes include quality education, safeguarding health, establishing a confident voice in civic society, building decision-making skills, and reinforcing a sense of self-awareness and Christian commitment.
