All-Armenian Evangelical Youth Conference 🇦🇲✝️

During the centennial year of the Armenian Missionary Association of America an exceptional gathering of Armenian Evangelical youth will take place in Armenia, in summer 2018. Youth from North and South America, across Europe, Eurasia, the Middle East and Australia will join youth from Armenia and Artsakh in the homeland to learn about God’s work in the past as well as take part in that work right now. Part of the program includes a special youth retreat at the AMAA’s Sheen-Shoghik Conference Center in Hankavan. From there, small teams will spread out over the country to serve, witness, work and spread the love of Christ in tangible ways. You can be a part of this!
An opportunity to grow… The camp program at Hankavan will include: Bible studies, discussion, fellowship, Armenian cultural programs, touring, strategizing for action in home churches and Unions.
An opportunity to learn… About Armenia, about God’s Word and God’s challenge to today’s Armenian youth. Come ready to learn and discern what God’s will is for the Armenian Evangelical church throughout the world, today and into the future, and to discuss and plan together with other young people how to be a part of how the Lord Jesus is leading this part of his worldwide church.
An opportunity to serve… The legacy of the AMAA is one of faith, love and service. Having hands-on experience is an essential way of continuing that important legacy.
In the mission service program you will join a team to do one of the following:
- visitations to elderly, bereaved, etc.
- clean-up work in homes, parks, streets
- public or private renovation work
- Vacation Bible School participation, and more.
Each small group will also have an opportunity to do sightseeing in its particular region, and to worship with a local Armenian Evangelical church or fellowship.
Program will include sightseeing, worship, community service, outreach, fellowship, and strategizing. The general schedule is as follows:
