It is humanly impossible to console and comfort the victims of violence and hatred in Charlottesville and Barcelona, Syria and Iraq, and those of natural disasters, such as this week’s mudslides in Sierra Leone.

So we share with them the Word of God and the promise of the great healer, Jesus Christ.  The world has yet to understand that violence and use of force will not resolve disputes and bring peace.

Only dialogue, love and tolerance can help bring the human race together.  We grieve with the families of all victims and pray for divine peace to abide in them.

The Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA) shares the grief of those affected by the catastrophe in Sierra Leone. Latest reports indicate hundreds are feared dead, thousands still missing and many more left homeless after mud engulfed houses near the capital, Freetown.

The AMAA appeals to its members and friends with the request that we remember the victims with our prayers, and also with our financial support.

We encourage you to prayerfully consider making a gift to aid the victims of this terrible disaster.
