Kirkor Ağabaloğlu, Pastor of the Armenian Evangelical Church of Gedikpaşa, the Principal, teaching staff, officials, students, and parents gathered at the Cathedral with the call of unity while the bells of the Church were ringing and calling all to attend the Annual Madağorhnutyun (blessing of sacrificial meal) followed by the Love Table for the School, held at the Hall of the Church.

“On Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, AMAA organized a small event to attend Elevation Worship Concert in Elmont, NY. I was very excited to go since it was my first time! Christine did a fantastic job making sure everyone made it to the bus that was supposed to take us to the concert, handing out snacks, goodie bags, making everyone feel comfortable. We had a great spot to enjoy the show. We all worshipped the Lord (the most important part) and had a great time! The singers and the crowd were amazing!

It’s going to be a wonderful memory for me, and I am sure for everyone who attended. Thank you so much to AMAA and Christine”

Dr. Manush Ohanyan

“I am so thankful I was able to join this AMAA event. I was beyond encouraged to see the amount of like-minded people praising the Lord all in one place. It was the encouragement I needed.”

Sela Ghoughasian

“I would like to thank the AMAA for holding this event to attend Elevation Worship at UBS Arena. It was a blessing to attend a Christian concert with other Armenians in the community for fellowship and to hear God’s word. Thank you to the AMAA for providing bus transportation to the arena and back, and a special thanks to Christine for organizing the event. She took care of everything from start to finish. I had an amazing experience and if there are any future events held by the AMAA, count me in!”

Joseph Kalachian

“It was a night to remember with music, Jesus, and good people.”

Rebuilding a Vision

Hrant Guzelian had a vision in 1962 to gather and educate orphaned Armenian children who, forcibly separated from their cultural roots and Christian heritage, were being assimilated into foreign culture and faith. Today, the Armenian Missionary Association of America strives to revitalize this vision by helping to restore and rebuild Camp ARMEN, located in the Tuzla district outside Istanbul. In this way we will honor Hrant’s legacy and continue the impact he had on raising resilient generations of Armenian children and youth.

“What can I do? What contribution can I make to be of help to the remnant of my nation?”

Hrant Guzelian

Our goal is to raise $2.5 million to make the new Camp ARMEN the first and only Camp in Turkey to function as a state-of-the-art center serving the Armenian Evangelical, Catholic and Apostolic communities throughout the year, providing critical social, cultural, and religious development activities for Armenian youth, led by staff and trained volunteers.
