Solidarity With Those Suffering

“In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnants of his people.” Isaiah 11:11

Observers of history are not surprised to witness yet another aggression by an unabated power in the Near East.

For the umpteenth time in a century, Turkey has unveiled its contempt of international law, good neighbor sentiment and human values by invading Syria, causing death and destruction.

Once again anguished civilian masses hit the road of deportation leaving behind, homes, farms, belongings and property.

Our people are not immune to this most recent catastrophe in Tel Abyad, Ras al-Ayn, Kameshli and other towns and villages in North Eastern Syria.

The plot and plan to dismember Syria is beyond us. The clear victim are the Syrian people including the progeny of the survivors of the Genocide who took refuge in Syria a century ago.

Despite serious obstacles, we will reach out.

We will embrace our people and while Turkey destroys we shall build wherever our people are.
