Another Christmas Season has arrived. We are reminded of the many blessings surrounding us and are encouraged to join in the opportunity to express gratitude for the life of Jesus. It is certainly “the most wonderful time of the year!”

While it has become the norm to live in an instant gratification, fast-paced culture, God calls for each of us to slow down, reflect and refocus our attention on the virtues of giving, love and unity.

Looking back, 2023 has certainly been an eventful year. Heightened global unrest, man-made calamities, and societal changes were top stories. For the AMAA, the challenges and heartbreak facing the communities we serve increased. Despite this, AMAA steadfastly continues to reflect God’s Word and share His love and goodness all around.

Whether it is welcoming a recently displaced family from Artsakh with open arms; uplifting and empowering a child at summer camp; helping Churches spread the “Good News”; building a foundation for vulnerable individuals; or educating the youngest and brightest minds, the AMAA helps affirm the dignity and value of every person, especially during times of crises and uncertainty.

Celebrate Christmas with a gift from the heart, a gift of love, a gift which unites and offers hope to people facing challenges. Help the AMAA continue spreading His light brought down from Heaven as we fulfill the mission to serve others in His name. Every gift received from our annual Christmas appeal is instrumental in supporting projects and programs in 24 countries around the world.

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus and look forward to the new year, may your heart be filled with hope, peace and joy.

ԱՀԱԸ-ի առաքելութեան
Սիրելի գործակիցներ,

Տարուան ամենէն ցնծալի ժամանակն է, ինչպէս որ ԱՀԱԸ-ն հռչակեց Սուրբ Ծննդեան իր ուղերձին մէջ: Այս չի նշանակեր թէ, մենք տարի մը ամբողջ ուրախութիւն ապրեցանք, մինչ կը նաւարկէինք կեանքի ակօսներուն մէջ:

Կորսնցուցինք սիրելիներ, գերեվարուեցանք, սովի մատնուեցանք, բռնի տեղահանուեցանք, ահաբեկուեցաւ քաղաքացիական կեանքը, ռմբակոծուեցաւ ազգ մը ամբողջ, մայրեր եւ երեխաներ սպաննուեցան եւ ցանկը երկար է: Բայց եւ այնպէս, կը մնայ տարուան ամենէն ուրախ ժամանակը: Ի՞նչու պիտի հարցնէք: Որովհետեւ, համեստ մսուրի մէջ, շրջապատուած հովիւներով եւ ոչխարներով, երեխայ Յիսուսի ծնունդով, մենք ականատես կ’ըլլանք Նոր Կեանքի Աստուծոյ խոստումին:

Նոր Կեանքի խոստումը յոյսի ծնունդն է, որ կը բերէ ցնծութիւն, այն ինչ որ կը տօնենք այսօր: Մենք այլ հնարաւորութիւն ալ ունինք ամէն ինչ շրջելու յանուն բոլորին լաւ կեանք ապահովելու, զերծ մեղքէ, չարէ, դաժանութենէ եւ տառապանքէ:

Ես եւ դուն այս «գործ»ին մէջ ենք, ներադիտելով կը զգանք ցնծութիւնը, եկէք կրկնապատենք մեր ջանքերը, աշխարհին հետ բաժնեկցելու Բարի Լուրը եւ յոյսը:

Տարուան ամենէն ցնծալի ժամանակն է:
